Robert John Haapala, age 77, of Virginia passed away Friday, January 6, 2023 in Duluth. To honor his wishes there will be no services at this time. A complete obituary will be published when available.

Donna and family, Life is fragile and ever so unpredictable. I was saddened to hear of Bob’s unexpected passing. I’ve known him from the northside of Virginia since 3rd grade and we kept in touch. He was an astute individual and a good guy and down to earth. I am so sorry for your loss. May the wonderful and cherished memories of him bring you comfort and strength in the coming months and always. Donna and Chris, I was so sorry to read of Bob’s passing. I am so sorry for your loss. I didn’t know him but reading the tributes to him I know he was loved and respected by many people.
