As time goes by, I know my memories of Geraldine will bring me joy, as I hope they will also for all her family and many, many friends. But, for now, I want to express my condolences to her devoted family-realizing what a treasure you’ve lost. Geraldine was one of the good ones.

Gene, please accept our sincere condolences on the passing of Geraldine. It was a pleasure to work with her and she always made me feel welcome whenever we would go to Vermilion. She was a very friendly lady with a big heart. Prayers for you and the rest of the family. We will have a Mass celebrated here for her.

  5. So sorry to the Hank’s family on their loss of Geraldine. I have missed her at the Center the past few years when I’ve gone to get my netting permit but was very happy for her retirement. She certainly deserved it! May she now Rest In Peace and and hit that jackpot on the other side!

Gramz I will miss you dearly and I am sorry for my absence when u only asked of me to to be there for you. I love you and I am proud that u raised me to the woman I am today. I know you are in a better place and I’ll see u again. I miss you so much momma.

To those I love and those who love me
While I am gone release me, let me go
I have so many things to see and do.
You mustn’t tie yourself to me with tears.
Be happy that we had so many beautiful years.
I gave you my love. You can only guess how much u gave to me in happiness.
I thank you for the love you each have shown.
But now it’s time I traveled on alone.
To grieve for me awhile if grieve you must.
Then let your grief be comforted by trust.
It’s only awhile that we must part, to bless the memories within your heart.
I won’t be far away, for life goes on, so if u need me, call and I will come, though you can’t see or touch me, I’ll be near.
And if you listen with your heart,
You’ll hear all my love around you soft and clear,
And then when you must come this way alone,
I’ll greet you with a smile and say….
    “Welcome home”
