Gary “Mike” Newman

03/30/1940 - 04/29/2019

Gary “Mike” Newman, 79, of Hibbing, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 29, 2019 at the Diamond Willow Assisted Living in Mountain Iron, MN. A Celebration of Life will be held later this summer. Arrangements are with Range Funeral Home in Hibbing.

Mike was born March 30, 1940 in Grand Rapids to Albert and Stella (Michoud) Newman. He attended Alango school, then worked in logging until he was drafted into the Army in 1963. Mike enjoyed working in his sawmill, farming, horses, singing and playing guitar. He loved spending time with family and friends and especially his grandchildren.
