  2. Julie Phaneuf-Hill says:

My sympathy to Eleanor’s family. I became acquainted with Beaver and Eleanor as a small child visiting their cabin with my parents. (Leo & Ruth Phaneuf) They were both so kind and seemed to like having us around. Since the Spehar cabin was so close we got to know them a little as well. As an adult, when I ran into Eleanor she was always friendly and we would share a few memories. I enjoyed her very much. My sympathy to her entire family.

  3. Mary (Spehar) Everett, Larry, Van, Jake & Broc says:

Eleanor was a cheerful and giving person. She was not afraid of hard work and loved the outdoors. She was constantly doing for others whether it was cooking meals, baking, or knitting sweaters, hats, mittens, or slippers for anyone in need. She and my dad had 21 wonderful years together and they often helped us by staying with our young sons when we were out of town. We will always be thankful for Eleanor and pray for her eternal peace.
