Annabelle Thomas Obituary

Annabelle Thomas, 99, of Virginia, passed away Tuesday, October 16, 2018 in Columbia, MD. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at Peace United Methodist Church in Virginia, MN at 1:00 pm with visitation one hour prior. Burial will take place at Greenwood Cemetery. Arrangements are with Range Funeral Home in Virginia.

Annabelle was born on September 1, 1919 to William Lloyd and Lillie (Zabel) Bays in Onega, KS. She was united in marriage to Dewey Thomas on June 18, 1944 in Onega, KS. Annabelle graduated from Kansas State University, earning her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting in 1941. She enjoyed knitting, reading mystery novels, and traveling.

She is survived by her son, Lloyd Thomas; and great-nephews, Scott and Todd Bays.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dewey Thomas; her parents, Lillie and Lloyd Bays; and her brother, Orville Bays.
