Lauri Richard Dickman, age 82, of Chisholm, passed away on Friday, March 22, 2024 at Bigfork Nursing Home.
Lauri was born on January 10, 1942 to Lauri V. and Lyyli (Schabloom) Dickman in Eveleth, Minnesota.
He grew up in Zim, Minnesota. Lauri graduated from the Cherry High School; and went on to attend Anoka Tech School.
Lauri ran his own carpentry business, and was always doing some kind of construction work. He also worked at the Range Center in Chisholm for twenty years. Along with working at the Nuclear Plant in Monticello and Red Wing.
Lauri was united in marriage to Patricia Crippen on October 11, 1999 in St. Cloud, Minnesota. The two made their home and raised a family of their own in Chisholm, Minnesota.
He retired in 2003 after working for so many years. And he enjoyed scroll saw work, fishing, and doing yard work. Lauri had a very good sense of humor.
Lauri is survived by his wife, Patricia (Crippen) Dickman; daughter, Lori (Alex) Ivanovic; grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lauri V. and Lyyli (Schabloom) Dickman; and son, Jeff Dickman.
A Celebration of Life for Lauri will be held on Monday, April 1, 2024 at the Range Funeral Home in Virginia. Visitation will begin at 12:00 P.M. and go until the 2:00 P.M. Service.
